Our club started with 25 gymnasts in 1987 and we now have over 400 children and young adults attending classes throughout the week.
We provide a facility for gymnasts to train to national level and we are proud to have several girls and boys selected to represent Scotland. All of our gymnasts have the opportunity to progress through the ‘Club award scheme’ with certificates presented throughout the year
Each year we have an Annual Club Awards and Championships, which all of our gymansts are eligble for. We encourage gymnasts to participate in school, local, regional and national competitions depending on age and ability.
We have a display team which performs at the Scottish Gym Festivals in Irvine, Perth and Scottish Schools each year. All gymnasts participate in our Club Display usually held in Bells Sports Centre every 2 years.
Girls often do not continue in sport in their teenage years, Auchterarder Gym Club has a good record of keeping gymnasts until they leave school or go on to university. Many of our older gymnasts help coach the younger gymnasts and take their coaching & judging qualifications.

Coaches
All Coaches are Registered with Scottish & British Gymnastics, have completed Disclosure Scotland and attend all necessary Child protection Courses.
